Bangladesh Water Development250 people reachedIn collaboration with our close partners, we’ve successfully installed three ROAMfilter Plus systems to provide a sustainable supply of clean water to village communities in Bangladesh. The life-saving water filtration systems support 43 households, schools and hostels across three different rural communities. By meeting their basic needs, these vulnerable communities are empowered; giving them a chance to rebuild their lives and break free from the poverty cycle.

Rohingya Refugee Crisis360 households reachedWateroam deployed ROAMfilter™ Plus systems in the refugee camps of Kutupalong and Unchiprang. The Rohingya are the most persecuted minority in the world, and have fled from the Rakhine state to Bangladesh. More than half a million Rohingya refugees do not have access to clean, drinking water, and thousands are infected with water-borne diseases. The ROAMfilter™ Plus is able to filter out the bacteria and viruses from water sources such as ponds and shallow wells, preventing these diseases from affecting the people. The units are currently serving an orphanage of 300 students in Unchiprang, as well as a village of about 60 households in Kutupalong.
