Houaphanh Health Centres300 people reachedFor Health Centres in Vieng Xai District, Houaphanh Province, clean water supports not only drinking needs but also sanitation and basic medical care. Wateroam partnered with the NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, the Lao Ministry of Health, and Thaxa to install three COMfilter™ Plus systems at Homthong, Chard, and Soi Health Centres, reaching around 300 people.
The project also included WASH committees, staff training, focus groups, and regular monitoring to help local teams manage the systems confidently. Beyond providing clean water, the initiative strengthened the foundation for safer care in remote frontline healthcare facilities. |

Laos Flood Relief with Red Cross200 households reachedIn collaboration with Singapore Red Cross, our filtration systems were able to provide sustainable clean drinking water as part of the Laos flood relief efforts. In June 2018, heavy monsoonal rains, coupled with the collapse of a major dam in Laos caused massive flooding and sunk entire villages. Many evacuation centres which were set up to facilitate the migration of the evacuated communities lack the resources, especially clean drinking water, to support the affected victims. Singapore Red Cross therefore brought eight units of our portable ROAMfilter™ Plus system, which were easily brought to the evacuation centres to provide potable water for Laos relief trip.
