Rural Village Water Development
1000 residents reached
Togather Café, World Vision and Wateroam came together for a joint relief effort to alleviate the post-flood situation in the affected regions in Gua Musang. With great speed and efficiency, Wateroam’s water filters were deployed to improve the conditions of the water in Kampung Bawek. The ROAMfilter™ Ultra system filters water from a 50ft-deep well, which is pumped up into a water settling tank. With the ROAMfilter™ Ultra installed, it has added a permanent alternative water source to the village’s water network. Thanks to Togather Café, Wateroam and World Vision, the villagers do not have to worry about not having sufficient drinking water for their basic needs.

Malaysia Flood Relief
2700 residents reached
It started off as a light rainfall in the night of 15 December 2014. But no one would have expected that it would be a storm so devastating never seen in the history of Malaysia before. The torrential rains stretched for 3 long, arduous weeks and disrupted the livelihood of the citizens. With more than 200,000 people affected, the 2014 Malaysian Flood is described as the worst floods in decades. Wateroam is glad to be take part in OPS HARAPAN led by Relief.sg and Centre for A Better Tomorrow (CENBET) for the relief effort in East Malaysia flood in early 2015. With great speed and efficiency, Wateroam’s water filters, medical personnel, volunteers and a mobile clinic were deployed to alleviate the flood situation in the East Coast of Malaysia.
