Philippines Typhoon Haima

Wateroam partnered with Mercy Relief to provide the ROAMfilter™ Lite bags to the victims of Typhoon Haima in the Philippines. The typhoon had cut off electricity and water supplies to several communities in the affected areas. The ROAMfilter™ Lite enabled them to filter water from local water sources, which was heavily turbid, for drinking and washing. Mercy Relief staff reported that many victims of the typhoon were greatly helped by the ROAMfilter™ Lite. ​

Calauan, Philippines Village School

ROAMfilter™ Lite was deployed to a rural area in Philippines in Calauan, Laguna. When our local partners were there, it is soon realized that despite having existing water filtration systems set in place, few were in use as the water were untreated and too difficult to operate. With the ROAMfilter™ Lite, the school can finally tap on an alternative source for safe drinking water which is simple and easy to use. We are thankful to be able to partner with Don Bosco Calauan Laguna and Spring Technologies Pte Ltd to bring clean water access to these people. The filtration systems will be able to last for 3 years and improve the living conditions for the families and children.
